So nice to meet you! I'm Ashley, a fine art wedding photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. I absolutely love being able to capture timeless, heirloom images for joyful, in-love couples. I utilise both film and digital photography to capture dreamy, romantic portraits as well as authentic, candid moments. It is such a joy to tell each couple’s unique story! I enjoy building relationships with every couple - always my goal is that they enjoy every second of their wedding day! IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… with my husband, stopping in all of our favorite spots! Grabbing brunch, browsing for vinyls or antique shopping, playing some pickleball, and ending the evening somewhere with live music and a good patio. We love going to concerts together so that would be the most ideal!
MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… driving the California coast on Highway 1 (listening to The 1 by Taylor Swift obviously) in Big Sur with my husband on our honeymoon! Stopping periodically to take photos and explore. We had a picnic under the redwoods for lunch and grabbed pizza and old fashioned's at a rooftop restaurant in Carmel by the Sea for dinner. It was perfect!
THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… Italy! I am SO excited to be there soon to capture a wedding on Lake Como!
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… spending so much time around people who are so happy and so in love!
IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE/DO… something else also in the wedding industry! I love wedding stationery, wedding fashion, florals, everything!
IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE…there are no rules in wedding planning! Do what makes you happy and works best for you. Weddings are full of traditions, some of which can be so sweet and special! Have fun creating some of your own - your wedding day is entirely yours! - and ditch any kind of wedding expectations that don’t excite you or that don’t fit your day.
I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… St Louis has so many beautiful parks and such gorgeous Parisian inspired architecture! Plus, there’s hardly anything better than a toasted ravioli or gooey butter cake.
IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… maybe somewhere in Scandinavia. They’re always ranked as the happiest countries, and the fashion is so cute!
MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? I have to be extremely honest here and say Twilight.
THE PETS I OWN ARE… a cat - Marvin, and dog - Rue!
