Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… taking a walk on the beaches in San Diego and then coming back home to relax and find a new show on Netflix or HBO.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… traveling to London and France with my fiancé. We spent two weeks road tripping throughout Paris, the Loire Valley, Lyon, and Annecy and soaking up every little bit of culture together. We stayed in Airbnbs so that we could live more like locals and still cook together for a few nights in. Although we both got sick during the trip, it was incredible to experience different cultures and see beautiful sights together.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… I would say New Zealand, but I am already planning to honeymoon there, so now I’d say the UK again; however, I’d stay in small cities instead of touristy areas like London. Big cities always feel the same except with different accents and languages, so I want to revisit the UK but do it totally differently.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… seeing my couples so happy on their wedding day and also giving them images that they will love and cherish for their entire lives. It makes me feel so thrilled when couples email me after receiving their photos to say that they are in love with them. I absolutely love making them so happy!

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE… maybe a detective, but that could just be my love for crime dramas talking. My background is in human rights, so I could also see myself working in that field again to aid refugees or improve the criminal justice system in America.

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… I actually have three: Savour every minute of your engagement, trust your vendors, relax on your wedding day!

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… San Diego almost always has good weather and everybody is so relaxed here, which is a nice balance for my Type A personality!

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… on a small island where there are no cares in the world.

THE PETS I OWN ARE… two cats named Kudzu and Boots. One sleeps on my pillow and the other by my feet every single night.
