My intrigue for photography began at a young age, and over the last twenty plus years it has blossomed into a true passion. I find it so important to document your legacy. I cherish any old family photos I can get my hands on and ultimately, I am driven by the fact that I can capture life’s biggest moments.

Though my work is for those both near and far, I consistently photograph weddings along the East Coast, primarily in CT, NY, and RI. I am incredibly inspired by beauty in all forms; paintings, gardens, an antique diamond ring, a soft touch between soulmates. We are surrounded by it everywhere, especially during events celebrating love.

One of my favourite little quotes is “It’s delightful when your imaginations come true, isn’t it?” by L.M. Montgomery, and that’s what I want each client to feel when they view their gallery. Seeing your vision, passion, and love documented in an effortless way—a mix of editorial and candid photographs—and being able to pass down your memories for years to come is a true dream for me.

Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… don’t you just adore Sundays? So slow and warm. Mine would be spent with a little bit of nature, perhaps a morning stroll along the water or through a garden. Then an afternoon with my family (I have 8 siblings!) and an early evening of something relaxing. Perhaps playing the piano (I just started lessons in 2022), reading, or a little floral designing.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… oh, this is easy! I took my mom to Charleston, SC recently, it was her first flight ever (remember, eight kids, not too much time for travel), and she was in awe. We enjoyed every second and soaked in all the beauty CHS has to offer.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… I have two! One for my roots: Austria. I think it’s important to see where you came from and allow your history to live on. And one for the pure beauty: France. I could spend months scouring the cities for antiques and leisurely swimming from beach to beach.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… creating heirloom items that will be passed down for decades to come and making new friendships. My clients often turn into forever friends, we meet for dinners and chat on the phone-I love not only being there on your wedding day as a source of calm and creativity, but letting that bond grow and grow once the champagne is long gone and the music comes to an end.

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE/DO… anything surrounded by beauty. Perhaps I would return to the studio and do floral design, or pick up where my degree left off and dip my toe into journalism. I love writing/words, flowers/design, and anything visually pleasing-and luckily the world is full of those things!

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE…make the day yours. Choose your favourite flowers, nix the bridal party, serve your cocktails in vintage glasses. Whatever makes the two of you “you”-go for it. And soak in all of your hard work and love the day-of. Sneak away just the two of you and enjoy the view.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… one day I can be roaming museums in NYC and the next I’ll be walking the grounds of a Newport mansion. I am close to everything beautiful. Beaches, museums, quaint New England towns, bustling little cities. I not only get to see it all, but I get to feel it all with four beautiful seasons.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… I could manage a brief exploration to the South of France or Tuscany. Enjoy the views and photograph some beautiful scenes, but then I would miss my family and take the journey back to the East Coast.

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. It’s a family favourite, you actually have to quote the entire movie before you’re allowed in the house for Christmas dinner…
