Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… with my family. Family means so much to me. They are my biggest support and are always there to encourage no matter what!

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS…getting to travel the lower 48 states on a three month tour.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS…I have always had Europe on the top of my buck list of places to visit. Everything about the gorgeous chateaus, rocky coastlines, and history has me hooked!

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS…I feel like what I love most is also what humbles me the most. Weddings are the beginning of a new chapter in the legacy of love a client will leave behind to their children and grandchildren. Knowing I get to be a part in preserving that legacy and helping them tell their love story is something I will never get tired of and treasure forever!

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE/DO…I think if I wasn’t a wedding photographer I would have went into music. I play around seven instruments and sing as well. Music has had a huge part of my life, so I would most likely try to make it in the music industry.

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… I would tell couples to slow down and savour every moment! Yes you have so many things to decide on and there are millions of options when it comes to colours, venues, vendors, etc… but this is such a special time in your life and it will pass by so quickly. Take time to enjoy and connect to your vendors. It will make your wedding day feel like being with old friends.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… Western NC is like a postcard with its breathtaking mountain ranges and endless waterfalls. I think most times we get use to things we see around us, but I will never get use to seeing the fog rolling out of the valleys in the morning, or the setting sun as it crests the mountain ranges.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… While I love NC, I would move to Europe in a heartbeat! I am so in love with everything about it, it wouldn’t be hard for me to call it home!

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? I am one of those who loves everything from action to comedy, but I would have to say one of my favourites has to be Toy Story. I know childish, but this was the first movie I ever got to see in theatres and it was a big family event. I will never forget the thrill of seeing all the popcorn machines and the huge screen as a young kid. With that being said Disney Plus is a huge addiction of mine right now!

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… each year at Christmas my grandmother will spend all day preparing a meal from scratch. Over the years we have had many things, but one thing that I always look forward to is her special ham. Even in her old age, she will continue to cook for us and that means the world to me that she would spend her time preparing a meal for all her family!

THE PETS I OWN ARE… I have grown up in a home where a dog was always present! Currently I have a little cavapoo (King Charles Cavalier miniature poodle mix) Her name is Kodak and I got her when she was six months old. She is spoiled rotten, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
