Ditto Dianto Photography

Northern California Photographer & Indonesia Photographer

I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based in Northern California and Bali, Indonesia.

Born and raised in Java Island, I was working as a chef in different parts of the world before I found my passion for photography and called the San Francisco Bay Area home.

After countless weddings, engagements and elopements, I knew that I wanted to become a full time photographer. And I am so fortunate to call this my job for over six years!

I am a hybrid photographer (digital & film). My photography is often described as romantic, bright, vibrant and natural that lends itself from my love of film look. My approach is a mix of photojournalism and fine art.

When I'm not behind the camera or editing the latest wedding, you can find me spending time with my wife and our two tabbies, cooking, gardening or watching our local team on tv.

I would absolutely love to get to know you and your dream wedding. Let's connect and chat more!

Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… Just relaxing at home, cooking or a day trip with my wife.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… In pouring rain, 1250ft elevation, 4 miles, out and back hike on Captain Cook Monument trail to Kealakekua Bay in Kona. The most beautiful snorkeling spot. The best that I've ever been. Finished off the day with a big meal of loco moco and pipikaula short ribs.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… Currently Thailand for the street food and a visit to Angkor Wat in the neighbouring Cambodia.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… The joy of capturing genuine moments between two lovers, making their special day memorable, and also getting to know their families, friends and cultures.

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE… a chef owner of a small restaurant

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… I would tell my couples to invest in a photographer that they get along with, one they can relate to and one who can capture the day as it unfolds, because at the end of the day, the only tangible thing from your wedding that will bring you back to that most beautiful day are the images frozen in photographs

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… The weather, scenery and food.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… Bali or Taiwan

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… My Grandma's Javanese Roast Chicken.

THE PETS I OWN ARE… Two tabbies, Michon and Totoro.
