Jessica Lapp is a wedding and portrait photographer located in Charlottesville Virginia. Through a mix of film and digital photography, wedding days are captured as a story. Her approach is simple, yet intentional: classically elegant, yet relaxed. Elevated in style, yet never stiff. Luxurious, emotional imagery starts with relationships, and that is the foundation of her business. Days off consist of lots of time outside on their farm in the gorgeous countryside of Central Virginia with her husband Steve and her 2 year old daughter Evelyn.

United States
IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… curled up with a book and a cup of tea!
MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS…Hiking in the Alps in Switzerland.
THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS…Ireland.
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS…meeting and working with so many amazing people from different backgrounds, careers, walks of life, etc. It’s been so rich and fulfilling!
IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE…prepare for marriage, not just the wedding day.
I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE…one of the things I love about Virginia is the many beautiful, historic places to explore! Also the Blue Ridge Mountains, the beach and the United States Capitol all within a few hours. I live out in the country in Central Virginia and I truly love the slow pace of life here.
MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? I'm a fan of most BBC period dramas. Poldark is my favorite!
THE PETS I OWN ARE… we have a German Shepherd named Finn, a herd of sheep and a herd of cows, and one donkey named Buddy.
