Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… If I had a free Sunday, you would find me chilling in my pyjamas until noon and hanging out with my husband with my laptop not very far away. Ideally, an iced latte is also nearby with a big stack of brioche French toast. A Sunday afternoon is probably spent either sprucing up our home or going for a walk in the parks nearby with our dog, Alaska.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… visiting Carmel-By-The-Sea with my husband and our sweet best friends! We got to see Highway 1, Big Sur, Yosemite, Muir Woods and the Golden Gate Bridge! It was one of the most fun trips I have ever taken and I’m so thankful for the time we all got to spend together. There were lots of photos taken, laughs shared and good eats!

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… Switzerland! My husband and I love to ski so it would be so fun to be able to take a ski trip to the Swiss Alps.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… getting to be an integral part of so many love stories. Knowing that I’m documenting one of the most precious moments of a couple’s life is so meaningful to me! It’s also very exciting to get together with other creatives to bring a couple’s beautiful wedding day vision to life.

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE… I always joke that if I wasn’t a photographer, I would be a florist. One of the things I get most excited about is what the couple has planned for their florals on their wedding day! If there was ever a way to do both things at once, you better believe I’ll be on it!

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE…to trust the professionals and enjoy the build up to the wedding day! Soak up all the excitement and leave the worries to the vendors you’ve chosen to work with. As professionals, it’s our job to take the stress off your back so that you can sit back and enjoy every moment.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… Telluride, CO! The fact that the whole village is ski-in-ski-out says enough, but I love taking pictures of landscapes in my free time, and there is an abundance of beautiful pictures to be taken in the mountains!
