Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… with my wife and daughter at our home spending time together cooking and gardening.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… Oh that is hard. A fun one was in London for the 2012 games. We wound up hanging with the US fencing team by happenstance. A sweeter one is when I was about 10 years old I was with my grandparents in Naples, Italy and we etched my initials and the date in some fresh pavement with the promise I would bring my family there one day. I’m going there this summer in hopes of finding it.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… all of them! Haha. I love Italy and Ireland and can’t wait to go back soon.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… two-fold. I genuinely love people and seeing their stories unfold on their wedding is a blessing. I also love the chase of epic photos that clients will have for a lifetime.

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE… creating in some medium of art and maybe teaching at a University.

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… find vendors that you connect with on a personal level. Also hire a planner and be present in your wedding day and not worried about everything going exactly as planned. Live in the moment and in that day.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… the people here are some of the warmest in the world. So often I find myself walking past strangers outside of where I live and saying hello and then getting odd looks. There are no strangers here just people we haven’t met yet.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… gosh, I don’t know. I love New Orleans, San Francisco, and South Beach. I also would love to live on the Mediterranean. There is something about the ocean that I feel a soulful connection with.

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? Love Actually!

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… dinner and family are synonymous in a sense. I tie warm feelings of being with my family over dinner. There are so many of those types of memories its difficult to choose one. Last week I had dinner at a small Italian Restaurant: Me, my wife, my daughter, and my grandparents in their 80’s. It was our wedding anniversary, my and wife and my grandparent’s as well. The 90 year old singer sang at our table, my daughter sang on stage. It was a special night I’ll remember for the rest of
