As a fashion loving sentimentalist, I knew photography was my life's purpose after admiring the pages of Vogue and BRIDES and picking up my first camera at a young age - the photographs in magazine ads always inspired me and led me to pursue a degree in journalism. I happened to enjoy photographs, as opposed to the written word, in their unique ability to tell an entire story within one single image.

It's this love of beauty and incredible artistry that led me to view weddings, and your legacy, in a way that stirs your emotions years later. With an eye for art and design, my goal is to create timeless images that reflect your unique love story. I believe that emotion is more important than perfection, and my hope is that my couples look back on the photographs in their wedding album and truly feel the emotions and romance surrounding that day. By combining styled details and beautiful portraits together, I am able to create an artful heirloom to withstand time.

Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… cozied up at home with my family or having brunch with friends.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… a solo trip to Colorado -- there's something about the mountains that really just cannot be put into words!

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… connecting with people in all walks of life and documenting each individual moment - both big and small. There are so many nuances to human experiences and so many beautiful memories that I can turn into tangible items; it is truly incredible.

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE/DO… a stylist! Either fashion or brand/event/home styling. I absolutely adore putting together vignettes.

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… follow YOUR heart and create a truly memorable experience for both you and your guests. Invite those who are dearest to you, and hire professionals to create a personal and elevated experience that everyone will remember for years beyond the last glass of champagne.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… the Midwest is a wonderful mix of big city-small town. I have to admit though, my hometown on the East Coast will always have my heart.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… Honestly, anywhere immersed in culture -- I find so much joy and inspiration in living in a town with incredible restaurants and markets, beautiful artistry, and a stellar landscape near the water. Probably California then, haha!

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? Roman Holiday, hands down. I have always adored Audrey Hepburn.

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… the steak tacos in Tulum, Mexico after deciding to take a last minute day trip into town - I still dream about those tacos!

THE PETS I OWN ARE… Luna, our lab pit mix, and Indigo, our blue heeler/cattle dog.
