My name is Mandy and I am a San Diego Wedding Photographer fueled by outdoor adventure, cinnamon dolce coffee, and Brookside chocolate.
I’m married to my best friend, Chris, and together we’ve traveled all across the country for his military career. This has opened doors for me to document weddings and love stories in some of the most beautiful places in the country: San Diego, Lake Tahoe, Northern California, Big Sur, Hawaii, Ireland, Oregon, Colorado, Virginia Beach, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Florida to name a few.
All of my travels have led me to grow deeply passionate about my craft. I am a film hybrid photographer with a light and airy aesthetic. This means I shoot both digital images and medium format film to achieve my aesthetic. Film, to me, achieves a soft, classic colour range that can’t be emulated with a digital camera alone. I strive for a level of quintessential, authentic romance in my work - so you end up with photos as remarkable as you are, with an experience to match.

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… hanging with my husband and my dog, Teddy, enjoying Lake Tahoe.
MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… traveling to Qatar - solo! I moved there for a short period when I was 24 to do Entertainment & Marketing for a Military Base. I learned so much about the culture.
THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… I’ve always wanted to experience Thailand!
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… making people feel absolutely beautiful and confident in front of my camera.
IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD… definitely be pursuing a Graphic Design/Marketing or creative job if I weren’t doing photography.
IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… stop and smell the roses. Enjoy the process, and enjoy spending time together on your day. Don’t let it become a production!
I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… I love where I live because right now - it’s warm! I love San Diego and being close to the beach.
IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… I would love to live back near Lake Tahoe.
MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? I don’t have a favourite movie, but I’ve watched the Office about 3 times through!
MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… I love anything and everything with truffle oil, especially truffle lobster mac and cheese from a fantastic little restaurant just South of San Diego!
THE PETS I OWN ARE… one chocolate labrador/velociraptor mix named Theodore. ;)
