Redamancy Photo and Film

California Photographer

We are Aaron and Shaye at Redamancy Photo and Film, a California based wedding photography and videography team serving California, France, Italy, and worldwide.

We believe photography and videography is meant to document beauty, love, and family. We’ve designed our imagery around this very notion. With Shaye’s extensive knowledge of various arts (ask her about it - she’ll share all of her secrets!), and Aaron’s insight into movie cinematography and expert lighting, we create quality work to capture your love story. We incorporate the timeless durability of sculptures, the richness of portraits on canvas, and the careful stitches of a designer gown - all delicate in detail and steeped in patience.

Your wedding is not the beginning of your story, but it’s a milestone keepsake you’ll never forget. We promise fine art, magazine-worthy captures of your day that’ll be fond reminders of every important tradition and candid, intimate moment you experience. We’re here to create imagery that’s so classic and durable you might just find it in a museum one day.

Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… we’re romantics. You can find us shopping, cooking a French-inspired dinner with Frank Sinatra on the record player, or cuddling up for a movie night on the couch.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… any time we travel, we get to do it with our best friend. We always make meaningful memories together!

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… Greece.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… Creating art for others that they can appreciate and share for the rest of their lives, building new relationships, and traveling the world with the most inspiring people!

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… first, find the style you connect with. Then, hire an expert planner to help you secure trusted vendors who will bring your ideal wedding to life. You’ll guarantee yourself reassurance, ease in the process, and you’ll have the perfect setup that’s beautifully captured to look back on for years to come.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… California is beautiful and diverse in terrain and activities!

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… California. We’re lucky we live here! There’s nothing quite like it. From the rolling hills to the golden beach sunsets, we couldn’t ask for a better home. We satisfy our European craving often, so we feel like we get to live there, too! The best of both worlds. If we lived somewhere else, it would be in the South of France.

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS?  Our favourite movie to watch together is La La Land.

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… Aaron and I were walking the streets of Paris one evening when it started to rain. We took shelter in a small restaurant not far from our apartment rental. We’d just toured the South of France and tasted plenty of Michelin Star food, but this little corner café beat out every single dish we’d devoured. The flavours were so individual and worked in perfect harmony.
