Hello from my home state of Colorado, the mountains have my heart but I’m also drawn to the complex commotion in cities and the incredible architecture that makes them so special. I'm a Colorado and destination fine art hybrid photographer who is constantly inspired by the unspoken moments shared in the deep connection between two people completely immersed in love. So much beauty exists in-between moments that I notice, unposed and vulnerable. These are the moments I would love to help you capture in your story. Every time I pick up a camera, it’s an opportunity for connection. My process will revolutionise your perception of photography from fear to enjoyment. It is important that you experience the instances that leave you speechless and occasions that take your breath away on your wedding day.

Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… sleeping in, cartoons with my menfolk, coffee, church, afternoon nap and an evening run right before dusk.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… I’ve been blessed to do quite a bit of travel. My best friend and I met a painter on the Island of Mykonos who sat and talked with us for an hour as the sunset over the bay. We both ended up purchasing and framing a print from him and every time I look at that painting it reminds me of so many beautiful memories from that trip.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… I actually would love to go back to Greece with my husband and experience a lot of the same things I experienced with my best friend. Next on my personal list would have to be Morocco or Prague in the Czech Republic.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… the people! I know everyone says that but I love getting to meet so many different people and the fact that I get to help make what would often be a faded memory so much more alive and memorable. You never stop growing or pushing yourself in this industry and I love that.

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE/DO… If I could still do something that pertained to photography I would do more fashion work for designers and small brands. But if you took my camera away, traveling around the world, reviewing coffee and coffee shops would be ideal. Can I be the Rick Steve’s of coffee shops?

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… I once met a lady who had been married for 65 years, I asked her what her best piece of advice was for marriage and she said “don’t sweat the small stuff.” In life in general with your partner and on your wedding day don’t sweat the small stuff.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… this is an easy one! Because … it’s COLORADO! I feel so blessed to have been born and raised in such a fantastic state. I live fairly close to Rocky Mountain National Park and I always say that the park is pretty much my backyard.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… I would always have a home in Colorado but I’d probably spring for a second home in Italy along the coast.

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? This is like asking someone to pick their favourite song; not possible! Top three 1. La vida es bella  2. Chariots of Fire  3. 13 Going on 30

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… Okay it wasn’t a meal... I was running my first marathon 24 hours after having the flu. At mile 20 they were handing out orange slices. That orange slice was the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. I actually cried as I kept running wishing that I had grabbed a grocery bag full of them. A close second was spending almost 100 euro on two bowls of gelato in Rome with my husband.

THE PETS I OWN ARE… we love and have owned German Shepherds so someday we’ll definitely have another but for now we’re in a small child rearing phase.
