Tristan Perrier

France Photographer

I’ve been fascinated by the world of cinematography and the pure magic of analog photography ever since I was very young, so becoming a Fine Art wedding photographer was an instinctive choice for me.

I like to think that my sensitive nature, kindness, and emotional intelligence are mirrored in my photographs, which are graceful, soft, and natural.

I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and I’ve honed my skills to the point where my work is a true reflection of all the wonderful moments I witness at weddings. From lighting to composition, not forgetting the poses of the happy couple and their emotions, it’s all about craftsmanship.

I’ll be with you every step of the way for support, guidance, and reassurance, from our initial meeting to your wedding day to the moment you first set eyes on your photos. I pride myself on genuinely listening to my clients to find out what they want, then doing everything I can to shoot unique photos that tell the story of their life together.

Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… I’d spend it with my nearest and dearest, as the disruption we’ve all experienced recently shows us just how important it is to appreciate our loved ones.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… It was to the Western United States. I’ve been lucky enough to go there twice, 16 years apart. I love the variety of the landscapes – we’re not at all used to such huge expanses in France. I also really enjoyed exploring the different cultures of the various States I travelled through.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… probably the one that is home to the most beautiful beaches in the world… Mauritius. I’d like to go back to the 4.5-mile stretch of beach bordering the sublime lagoon at the foot of Le Morne. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? Love Actually, because love is all around, and I love that.

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… anything made by my mum! I’m really fortunate to have a mum who’s been an outstanding cook for as long as I can remember. It gives me great pleasure to say that I never ate the same dish twice during my childhood, and every dish was delicious.

THE PETS I OWN ARE… Yes – I‘m the proud owner of Birman cats. It’s a passion my wife and I share. We have ten of them! We take them to shows all over Europe. Our cattery is Chatterie des Innamorati.
