“As if J and Bey got married at an Italian villa.” That’s how Kristin and Matt describe the inspiration for their wedding, which paired elegant old world style with a modern party vibe. The couple opted for the Italian-influenced VILLA DEL LAGO in Austin and filled it with romantic florals - by STEM FLORAL - in shades of blush, peach, and burgundy, as well as a number of thoughtful touches, from the DIY olive oil favours to the ceremony music. After a champagne toast to kick off the reception, the dance floor was packed all night long, right up until the moment guests were surprised with a spectacular explosion of fireworks during the last dance. Beautiful bride Kristin tells us, “Make everything personal up to a point. Music, a special drink, fashion, flowers, vows, etc. Those are all things that can remind your guests of your personal love story and will always be the most memorable parts of the wedding. Just don’t make yourself crazy trying to find which napkin evokes your love story. It’s not out there.”
