Inspired by European architecture and couture details, Southern California wedding photographer CAVIN ELIZABETH PHOTOGRAPHY created this stunning spring editorial at the FAIRMONT GRAND DEL MAR, which provided the perfect backdrop for her vision. It's old-world Mediterranean style was ideal for emulating Europe in a Southern California setting. This colour palette is so utterly romantic for a spring wedding and Cavin's images really bring it to life.
Cavin tells us, "Because the Fairmont has colourful walls of Mediterranean pink, we chose a predominantly neutral palette for our tablescape and florals. GREEN APPLE EVENT CO. styled our table with soft LA TAVOLA linens, candles that were freestanding and nestled in marble holders, and metallic chargers upon which soft blush plates rested. These plates, along with BLUE LADDER BOTANY'S orchids and sweet peas provided enough of a colour pop to tie into the existing colours at the venue without overwhelming the design.
Our models wore sophisticated wedding attire in keeping with the grandeur of the property and its grounds. I secured a gorgeous couture MARCHESA gown for our bride that could not have been more perfect for a luxe bride who loves European style and high fashion. Our groom wore a sleek tux from THE BLACK TUX - a perfect complement to the bride's gown."
