Preserved amidst the modern context of the warm Florida coast, BONNET HOUSE is filled with old-world Spanish charm, secret hideaways, and ponds that are reminiscent of a Monet painting. This historic setting surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the new world reminded Washington D.C. wedding photographer MANDA WEAVER of the convergence of two stories as they meld into one.

Manda tells us, "Romance will flourish and be grounded in history, as a new life together is built, enduring love discovered, deep friendship built, and a story written that is worth telling. This shoot depicts a celebration of a couple in love who is writing such a story. A couple that will build upon the pages written in their past, both together and separate, and begin the next chapters that will tell of their ever after. Created for STYLED SHOOTS ACROSS AMERICA it featured linens from NUAGE DESIGNS, airy romantic florals from THE BLOOM FLORAL CO, stunning paper elements from PRETTY WRITTEN THINGS, and a gorgeous dress from KELLY FAETANINI. With echoes of textures and colours found in the architecture, flora, and fauna at the BONNET HOUSE, it also features vintage books that elude to the focus on a storied romance."

A big thanks to Washington D.C. wedding photographer AMANDA WEAVER for sharing this beautiful inspiration with us. Amanda is drawn to the beauty of water and old world architecture, and will always choose to make it a backdrop for a love story whenever possible. "I am relentlessly inspired by the work of Impressionist painters such as Manet, Monet, Cassatt. I often think of Degas' dancers when I photograph brides. Head over to her portfolio in our Vendor Guide to see more of her work.
