It's always a good day when we get to feature the work of our friend Portland wedding photographer MARIA LAMB. Her work has such a beautiful clean clarity to it and we're big fans. Despite the quintessential Pacific Northwest rainy weather, Margaret & Darrell embraced the weather conditions for their engagement shoot which resulted in these fun and playful images. An interior designer and a pro snowboarder, they bought some music along to the session, and the evening ended with them cozied in a coastal cabin with some wine in hand. Sounds like perfection to me! Love the very natural nature to these images... you get a sense of who they really are - which is surely what we wall want from our images!
Margaret tells us, "Darrell and I got engaged on the beach while staying at The Stephanie Inn in Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast. The night before he proposed we sat on our balcony drinking wine and watching the sunset while a couple who had just been married took some photos. This couple also released the sky lanterns into the sky and we watched them ascend. It was such a cool moment (especially looking back now) to see."
