Arizona photographer RACHEL SOLOMON captured this beautiful Sedona engagement at Oak Creek which was in full spring bloom with lush greenery. Bride-to-be Marian to tell me about how they first met, and how Mark proposed: "Mark moved to Arizona in 2011 and became friends with my older brothers. We became familiar with one another over the next couple years. In April 2013, Mark was going to a wedding with a blind date who cancelled last minute. He was with my brothers at the time, who decided to text me and see if I knew anyone who would be a good replacement. I said, "I'll go!" And the rest is history. We had a great time that night and have been dating ever since.
We got engaged on New Year's Eve 2015 on the the first day of a long weekend in Sedona. We were hiking at Cathedral Rock, and on the way down Mark suggested that we go off the trail to a viewing point. We sat down and were talking about the past year and how wonderful it had been, when Mark pulled out the ring! My reaction was to burst into happy tears!"
