We're chatting with Kirsten from Toronto wedding planner NÓBL EVENTS today and getting to know a little more about what makes this talented lady tick! NÓBL EVENTS is inspired by fine art and the loose organic aesthetics of nature. "We love things to feel open, free and oh-so-Nóbl while catering to your specific vision. We use the tools that innovation affords. With this approach you will see the fruits of our labour daily. As a Nóbl couple you are immediately connected to Aisle Planner, an online tool that allows us to harmoniously collaborate, giving you peace of mind throughout the entire planning process as we get closer to your wedding day. You, as a client, get immediate access directly from our site, through the Client Portal in our menu!"

HOW DID YOU BECOME A WEDDING PLANNER? I worked in the film and publishing industry, often planning events at the companies I worked at. After I got married myself, it just clicked that this is what I wanted to do.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE? Romantic, gardenesque, timeless, literary, cinematic and nostalgic. We believe that to call ourselves true "fine art designers" we must draw inspiration from fine art paintings, sculptures, classical music, European architecture and classic literature.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECT OF PLANNING A WEDDING? For me it's a tie. 1) The Design Phase - when we have the vision in mind and we're working with our vendor team to finalise the sketches with our illustrator. Presenting the drawings to our clients is my absolute favourite moment, other then seeing their faces when they walk in and see the design come to life.

2) The Final 8 Weeks! - When we can pull together the final details and begin to craft the timeline. The week leading up to the day is a thrilling countdown.

WHAT TWO PIECES OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUR BRIDES? 1) Don't underestimate the power of the connection you have with your vendor team. Feeling comfortable and confident in the people who handle your wedding day changes the entire atmosphere of your planning experience.

2) We always leave space in our planning process for our couple to actually enjoy being engaged. So my advice to couples is to slow down, love on each other and enjoy the state of engagement. This is a special time. Lean into it.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WEDDINGS? Seeing the way a couple looks at each other. There is so much love, tenderness and joy in their eyes. Every time their eyes lock I remember my own wedding day and get choked up. It's so precious and it is the single most important part of my job: facilitating that look.

CAN YOU RECALL YOUR FAVOURITE WEDDING EXPERIENCE? One couple in particular, their reaction when they walked into the wedding space we had designed. Their laughter and joy was so fulfilling, I can't even put the feeling into words.

ASIDE FROM FAMILY & FRIENDS, THREE THINGS YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT? Coffee, Lindt white chocolate, and a good romance novel.

WHERE WOULD WE FIND YOU ON A SUNDAY MORNING? In bed, snuggling with my little girl and my husband. Or on a family walk with our huskies.

HOW WOULD YOU SPEND YOUR IDEAL DAY OFF? Reading, listening to music with my daughter and dancing around our living room. She is the best little dance partner.
