An enchanting set up inspired by a romantic colour palette infused with glam and elegance is what this editorial shoot by San Francisco Wedding planner K. SAW WEDDINGS is all about. Reminiscent of a summer sunset in Tuscany. the lush blooms on the ceremony arch designed by the talented Northern California wedding florist LE BLOOMERIE were definitely one of the focal points of the shoot. The arch surrounds the beautiful bride in stunning gowns from one of the most sought after bridal salons in San Francisco, SF BRIDAL GALLERIA and were all beautifully captured by Cara of KNOCK TWICE PHOTOGRAPHY. Cara tells us, “Inspired by the beauty and warmth of the amber hues of a Tuscan sunset, this shoot was made for the romantic bride looking for a chic and original take on this romantic colour palette. As I was photographing, there was such a graceful peace evoked by roses in soft peach tones paired perfectly with the textured ribbon to give the whole design a timeless feminine feel. The candlelit cake and champagne scene is one of flawless style and enchanting elegance mirrored by stunning BERTA gowns. The table included luxe touches through custom menu cards with embellishments, amber toned glassware and subtle textiles.”

Katrina of K. SAW WEDDINGS continues; "Our tablescape is carefully curated with pieces perfect for a romantic micro-wedding. We kept our tablescape modern by using white stoneware paired with gold utensils and velvet napkins from Standard Party Rentals. We balanced our look by adding ghost chairs for a modern, light and airy atmosphere and completed it with lush floral centerpieces to create a romantic yet luxurious ambiance. We added a non-traditional menu designed by DAYLIGHT LETTERS to complete our tablescape. She incorporated hand made paper in an asymmetrical envelope enclosed by a wax seal and thin gold ribbons to add a little personal touch." Jas from DAYLIGHT LETTERS tells us, “For the Menu, I used an artistic approach with elegant and rich textures, to combine with this romantic tablescape. Different from normal menus, this folded menu with hand painted edges, twines and wax seals give the guests an unique experience.

They kept the custom stationery design cohesive to the overall colour palette and used all handmade papers to add texture as well as softness by incorporating peachy tones on the paper stories. Words from Jas, “With the thoughtful selection of all the peachy hues and rosy blush tones handmade paper for this Autumn Romance invitation, we incorporated personalised wedding gift with calligraphy and white wax seals and gold flakes. Due to the pandemic, most weddings were either cancelled or postponed. We based this editorial shoot by adding these wordings to our stationery to inspire couples that love isn’t cancelled and that they can still move on by indulging on beautiful details like this without compromising safety by having less guests.

"For our first look, our bride wears a stunning BERTA dress with floral appliqués studded with sparkles which is a perfect definition of a romantic glam. Our bride was glammed up by the talented San Francisco based hair and makeup artist, Christina of MAKEUP BY QUIS. She kept our bride’s romantic beauty by keeping her makeup natural with a dewy look and her hair with soft curls adorned by EL TALLER'S custom hair piece with white florals and pearls which complements her overall romantic vibe.

For our second look, our bride wears a jaw dropping lace BERTA dress in long sleeves filled with glittery details which sparkles from every direction. From Christina, “The second look was a long sleeved lace piece which had a plunging neckline so we moved the waves to one side to give a more old Hollywood glam vibe look, and winged out the eyes a bit more.  However, we kept the lips still fairly coral instead of a traditional red lip to keep the tones matching with the peachy yellow flowers.”We created a scene of “The bed of roses” where she lays on a bed of silk from Amore Society and garden roses by LE BLOOMERIE assisted by THE FLOWER THEORY. It was one of my favourite concepts from this whole shoot. The feminine yet luxurious vibe of it all was beautifully captured by Cara.

For our third look, our bride wore another show stopping gown by INES DI SANTO called the Mae gown. A mermaid dress with a satin bodice faded with a dramatic train that invades the space with elegance and glam! Our bride transformed her look into something modern and sophisticated. Christina put our bride’s hair into a clean sleek bun with a pop of colour on her lip to complete her look. From Christina, “We transformed the hair to a slick bun to match the sleek bodice of the dress, and to let the ruffles stand out.”

To conclude our editorial with a sweet note, we added a three-tiered cake from designed by MAGGIE CAKES which was inspired by the BERTA gown with floral appliqués. We added Apple Rosettes designed and made by DADDY CAKES for our dessert as reminiscent of the the beautiful bouquet of garden roses designed and created by LE BLOOMERIE."
