"A little over four years into our relationship, I arrived home to find a card on our dining room table. In it, I was told to pack an overnight bag, and head across the street to the salon for hair & makeup and a mani/pedi. When the appointment had finished, a gentleman in a chauffeur's hat came in to collect me. Entering the beautiful white car, we went on a brief tour of Downtown - with the driver pointing out date spots where Christian had taken me for each of our last four anniversaries. The drive ended up at the beautiful and elegant Rosewood Hotel Georgia, and I was escorted upstairs by concierge. Entering the beautifully appointed Lord Stanley Suite, I found Christian on bended knee, in front of a beautiful restored fireplace, and completely surrounded by red roses and petals. His arm-outstretched, he offered me my gorgeous ring - and, more importantly, his love. I accepted. As if that weren't enough, the front door opened and in walked Luke Liable - and we set off on a beautiful proposal photo shoot around the Hotel. After such an amazing experience, we immediately booked Luke for our formal engagement shoot. And, there was only one place that was the perfect spot: Belcarra Park - a place I spent nearly every summer for the better part of my childhood. The Park is stunning, with sandy beaches on its many lakes, hours of trails, and a size which guarantees peace and tranquility nearly everywhere you go. After a few cancellations, due to West Coast rain, we finally lucked out with a beautiful (but chilly) afternoon. And, Luke scouted for hours to find the perfect shooting locations. Jasmine and Cara did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. And, Joh at Celsia contributed the most beautiful floral crown that I have ever seen. All told, the engagement shoot day was as stunning and special as Christian's proposal was classical and elegant. I'm a lucky girl (soon to be wife!), and I'm blessed with the most amazing helpers - huge thanks to Luke, Joh, Jasmine and Cara. And we can't wait to share our wedding day with you!"
