We are having a beautiful Autumn here in Auckland and it's reminded me of what a stunning season it is and with lovely crisp cool days I think it's the perfect time of year to get married. As did Michelle & Austin who have some stunning photos by Jac & Heath to remember their day by. They were treated to the most beautiful light! The gorgeous bride tells us more of their story

I am from Lethbridge, Alberta (Canada) and Austin is from Atlanta, Georgia. We met in Virginia though mutual friends in August of 2012. Things moved pretty quickly after that!! From just friends to long distance phone calls to racking up sky miles with Delta from flying so much. Worth every penny though! Long distance was tough. We both didn't want to be away from each other longer than we needed to be. Somehow we roped my parents into letting me move to Atlanta to be closer to Austin. I moved down in August of 2013 and stayed with Austin's parents. We set a date for October and were planning to head to a courthouse with our friends but things took a detour when we told our parents. Looking back, I think the key to an elopement/courthouse wedding is not to tell anyone!! Anyway, things worked out for the better. I was introduced to the owners of the beautiful Payne-Corley House in Duluth. Going from having absolutely no plan in our courthouse wedding (we had Jac & Heath picked out, I had my dress already, we had rings, we had our witnesses, our bases were covered!!!) to actually planning a wedding was a bit intimidating but Krista from the venue was amazing. Payne-Corley house is one of those places where you walk in and everything already looks perfect. It was an absolutely no fuss wedding celebrated with 45 of our closest family and friends.
