If you've followed Magnolia Rouge for a while you'll be well aware that we're the biggest fans of BRUMLEY & WELLS! We've featured their beautiful work several times, but this Mexico wedding may just be our favourite yet! From the beautiful spicy colours of the hacienda, the brides gorgeous JENNY PACKHAM gown, and the Mariachi band providing entertainment, it's one celebration we would love to have attended!

It wasn't a case of love at first sight for international couple Sarah and Dany, who met when he was on vacation in Mexico - despite travelling together over the next week, neither had anything more than friendship in mind. But when they reconnected on Facebook and then Skype a few months later, something magical began to happen. Sarah visited Dany in Switzerland and, as she says: "when he picked me up at the train station, I immediately fell in love with him." Four years later, the couple returned to Mexico for their wedding, a three-day affair, surrounded by friends from around the world.

"We decided to get married in my parents' home, our family hacienda. It's a magical place, built on Mayan pyramids, and has a very special vibe I wanted to share with our closest friends and family. The hacienda was a ruin, and my father renovated it entirely himself, with help from local villagers. It was the perfect place for our wedding."

Jacob from BRUMLEY & WELLS tell us, I knew from the beginning that Sarah & Dany were a perfect fit for Annie and I. I think it had something to do with their multi-cultural background, their love for travel, and their deep appreciation for artful living and film photography. When we arrived at their Hacienda on the outskirts of Merida, they welcomed us like family, and we began an unforgettable weekend. Sometimes, you have to dive in and get personal with your couples, their families, Uncle Nicky, or whomever. There's life in that.

Gorgeous bride Sarah says,The wedding was entirely organized by my mother. She did the all the planning and organization as well as all the decor. And she did an Amazing job. It was full of surprises: mariachis, Mayan ceremony, Yucatecan dancers... it was all perfect.
