I had the honour of meeting RYAN FLYNN the man behind the camera for this wedding and his lovely wife Emily, on our recent trip to the US in their home city of Seattle. It's so fun getting to meet the talented people whose work I'm lucky enough to feature and these two couldn't have been nicer!! This wedding features in Issue 7 of MAGNOLIA ROUGE MAGAZINE.

Jensine and Matt's story began when they worked at the same restaurant. The two developed a tradition of stopping for ice cream at Molly Moon's after hours, where time would slip by as they chatted, laughed and fell in love. And it was there, in their usual spot, that Matt proposed on a rainy Monday night, Jensine's ring secured on an upright spoon in her two-flavoured single scoop. Needless to say, the Seattle ice cream brand made a reappearance at their wedding, providing the sweetest ending to a perfect day.

For their wedding they inspired by understated rustic style. All the scenes and ideas we had in our minds came to life when we arrived at Farm Kitchen in Poulsbo and were greeted by a border Collie, Porter. It was everything we wanted in a venue and then some - the contract was signed before the tour was over! On the day, it somehow even managed to rain for a short time, producing a rainbow."

At the end of the night, when we retired to our guest house at Farm Kitchen, we went through our guestbook containing everyone's Polaroid and special message. It felt like an achievement to bring a mass of folks together and have them leave with such a feeling, Almost everybody danced at our wedding. From the little kids to the elderly, people were moving!
