I kinda want to live in these beautiful engagement images by Portland Wedding Photographer JAMIE RAE PHOTO. There is just something about them that make me want to go and frolic in a field Anne of Green Gables style in a white lace dress! Ok yes I'm getting carried away but that's what I love most about photography - it has the ability to transport you to another time or another place - whether it be real or imaginary.
Jamie tells us, "There is something special and so genuine about a country couple - when she carries the charm of a small town girl complete with all American beauty and he is a real life farmer with hard earned dirt under his nails. I think this is why so many of us love country music so much - there is truth and honesty to a small town romance. Couples like Bretny and Andy may be few and far between these days, but that only serves to make their love story even more memorable."
From bride-to-be Bretny, "We've been together for four years and life has tested our relationship in every way. We unexpectedly had a baby after only being together for a year and a half, and quickly moved in together to raise him. This baby boy turned out the be the highlight of our lives and everything that we didn't know we wanted. Our mutual love for our son only made us fall more in love and opened our eyes to a whole new beautiful world. We've tackled many stressors that a married couple would usually go through and have overcome each one together. We realised that after overcoming all of these roadblocks, that we can take on life as a team very well! We both are nervous for our wedding day because we only have 5 months to plan for 400 guests, but one thing we are not nervous for, is marriage. We are completely ready to become husband and wife!"
