Photographer Sarah shares with us, "We started our session in the fall - about half way through when it was time to change outfits the couple realised that their entire wardrobe styled by MY WEDDING WARDROBE had fallen off the golf cart- we drove around looking for it but it was no where to be found. The next morning it was turned in to a bellman, but the couple had to catch a flight home and were forced to reschedule engagement session round two for a few weeks later so they could use all their chosen fits!"
From the bride: "Will and I got engaged at his family's lake house at Reynolds Plantation in Lake Oconee, Georgia. It was a complete surprise - we had gone to dinner at the Ritz via boat and when we got back the dock was decorated and he dropped down to one knee! The surprise continued when all of our family and close friends came pouring out of the house to celebrate with us the rest of the weekend.
We had actually never visited PALMETTO BLUFF before touring as a wedding venue. I had spent a lot of time in the South Carolina Lowcountry through the years and loved the idea of getting married in the area. From the second we pulled up to the inn building on the night of our first visit with the glowing chapel on the right (my jaw physically dropped) we knew. The staff there are the best of the best and the setting was exactly what we were looking for. We loved that our guests could stay on the property where all the events were taking place and have a full wedding weekend experience as well!
If we could use one word to describe working with ELIZABETH LANIER it would be effortless - I was never stressed out about timing, how pictures were going to turn out/if we were going to look awkward etc. Sarah Elizabeth has a knack for making a couple look so natural in photos, capturing how a moment feels, and are just so incredibly talented. As someone who had a huge priority on photography, you exceeded every expectation."
