It was truly a case of fireworks on the Fourth of July when Connor met Laura through a mutual friend at a holiday celebration. Those fireworks continued long after Labour Day, and eventually, following a romantic Hawaiian beach proposal, the couple began to plan their dream wedding which is beautifully captured here by Virginia Wedding Photographers MICHAEL & CARINA.

For their location, they chose the beautiful PIPPIN HILL FARM & VINEYARD. “The views and setting are breathtaking,” says the bride. “The gorgeous hydrangeas lining the pathway down to the ceremony and the rolling mountains on the horizon all made for the most beautiful scene for our ceremony.

I love, love flowers, so I knew I wanted a lot of luscious flowers! I also knew that I didn’t want them to look too traditional or structured. STEELCUT FLOWER CO. did an amazing job of making my bouquet huge and slightly undone, giving it an organic, sensual feeling. She used a lot of different types of flowers, including orchids and roses, but all in light pinks and creamy whites. At the reception, we had unique greenery hoops hanging from the ceiling, which added a great vertical element to the space.”
