I love the sentiment behind this shoot by NINA & WES with styling and concept by one of our favourite stylists LACY GEARY. The father/daughter relationship is such a special one and on your wedding day is especially poignant. It's not hard to look at these beautiful images and not get swept up in the emotions of them.
Lacy explains, "There are so many important parts of your wedding day that have a tendency to be overlooked in the hustle and bustle of the day. I wanted to do a shoot that I felt captured a moment of a bride's wedding day that I wish I would have been able to capture when I got married. I lost my Dad when I was 21 and wasn't able to physically have him present on the day I got married and I wanted to share that special moment and bond between a Father and Daughter during a first look before she walks down the aisle. It was extremely important to me that I found someone I thought could capture this moment well and would understand my heart and what I wanted to say. Nina and Wes were so amazing and captured this real father and daughter perfectly. The location offered a beautiful organic and natural environment that represented what I wanted to share which was a true and authentic moment. I hope that this shoot offers inspiration and opens up a door for brides to incorporate a Father/Daughter shoot into their day."
