HOW DID YOU BECOME A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER? I studied to be a fashion photographer and ended up getting asked to fill in for a few weddings or to capture friends' weddings. I ended up falling in love with the pace and challenge of a wedding and also putting my fashion background into the imagery. So I started my own business and the rest is history.
WHERE WOULD WE FIND YOU ON A SUNDAY MORNING? Trying to sleep in (hard with a baby), having brunch with my family.
CAN YOU RECALL YOUR FAVOURITE WEDDING EXPERIENCE? I have many, but getting asked to recently capture a wedding deep in Australian bushland was a first and an amazing experience.
ASIDE FROM FAMILY & FRIENDS, WHAT ARE THREE THINGS YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT? My camera, prawns and champagne!
HOW WOULD YOU SPEND YOUR IDEAL DAY OFF? Taking my son to the park or beach and having a slow relaxing lunch with friends.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE? As above, I think fashion, movement and romance plays a huge part in the way I work. I love to play with the light and the unique things every couple has on their wedding day. It really just comes down to me using this happiness and fleeting moments to my advantage.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WEDDINGS? The excitement. The romance, and funnily enough, the speeches.
