After meeting through mutual friends over a hotpot Jenny & Daniel got together and haven’t looked back since! When it came to planning their wedding they searched for a location that could host both their ceremony and reception as well as a Chinese tea ceremony, to make it easier for their guests who were already travelling a distance to be there. MALI BRAE FARM in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales was exactly what they were after and offered them some beautiful gardens and a relaxed, romantic feel as you can see in these images by one of our Australian favourites WE ARE ORIGAMI. Their garden ceremony was followed by canapés and drinks, then a lunch reception and the decor incorporated a few rustic elements in keeping with the venue's style.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OUT TO A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? Take time to read blogs and wedding magazines so you can see what style wedding you love. if you are on a budget, decide what you both feel are most important and try to save on items that aren’t as important to you. Once you set a date, find your perfect venue first! Good venues get booked out very far in advance, so you don’t want to be disappointed. If you like to DIY, try to do some items yourself. It’s a fun way to spend the afternoon with your husband to be or friends and very rewarding when you see everything come together on the day.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT? When our mutual friend (whom we met through) caught the bouquet unintentionally (two other girls were jumping for it) and it just bounced and landed in her arms.
