This gorgeously fun lifestyle session by KYLIE MARTIN aimed to document the authentic connection between this couple and capture them simply being themselves and doing what they enjoy most.
Kylie tells us, �This session was formed around adventure and spontaneity. My goal was to document the authentic moments between these two as they playfully splashed around in the ocean and soaked up the sun. In my experience, the best images are typically found in a natural, unscripted settings. That's why I asked Kendra and Jacob to enjoy each other and interact as if I wasn't there. By giving minimal direction we were able to capture images that show authentic emotion and energy. Creating something genuine and true can sometimes get lost in the shuffle of styled sessions. I wanted to come back to what originally drew me into photography, the ability to capture a moment in time that reflects honest love and emotion. Jacob and Kendra gave me so much to work with and really completed the vision with their own personal touches. Kendra styled her own hair and makeup to tie in with their wardrobe choices. Keeping the styling simple allowed for more organic images and she understood the importance of creating a effortlessly sophisticated look for herself that would ensure their images would remain timeless. Overall, we set out to create something full of love and full of laughter. The authenticity of their love speaks for itself and I was honored to document it.�
